Elaine here...Layered artwork is created by combining stencil designs with different colours. Today going to share a simple idea with you that can inspire you to make your own Layered DIY Islamic art. To make an interesting piece of Islamic art, I started with an Islamic tile design stencil and then put Arabic calligraphy on top. This was my first time using layering stencils, and I had a lot of fun with it. Insha'Allah, I intend to experiment with layering with more than two stencils and a variety of media.
